Whats up with this blog

So, I have not fallen under the spell of Facebook yet,  I have been tempted though.  I have a very basic prepaid cell phone-no camera, 3g, internet, bluetooth, games, ringtones, again very basic and because its prepaid I do not use it much.  I am not on the phone enough to have a monthy plan.  But, I would like to figure out how to let friends and family know what is going on as I am going to try and travel more. 

I would like to figure out how to contact people while abroad so I am going to try skype or tango or something.  I am thinking of getting a 'smart' phone with wifi and just use the wifi part or maybe a ipad or another type of tablet.  I need something that I can access a few web sites to help me find or change flights when needed.

A friend of mine replied to an email with a link to her blog and I thought maybe I will try and start a blog.  So here it is, starting on the 11th of February, 2011.  I have some trips and photo's to post but I would like to get them in date order starting from the beginning of the year.  So, I am working on it.

If I run the order correctly, up to this point, I went to Atlanta, Georgia to visit some friends over New Years and we went headed to savannah.  I then went to St. George, Utah for the Southwest Crawlfest, a four wheel drive event that started a few years ago.  Then I headed to Cambodia to help a Skywest flight attendant take some supplies to an orphanage.  And, all that was just in January.

I am typing this in the San Jose, California airport waiting for a ride to visit my parents.  I figured I will deliver of a couple of items I picked up while in Cambodia.  Here I am.

So, hopefully I keep this up and going and start trying a little more to keep in touch with others.
